The Ferrara Gliding Competition, which counts toward the Italian Championship takes place over two weekends with six days of flying above the flat land of the Po valley and is open to foreign pilots in Club, 20m or mixed class, giving competitors from abroad time to spend a week in Italy. They have the opportunity to visit nearby cities of art (Ferrara, Padua, Venice, Bologna, Ravenna), enjoy Italian cuisine, or head to the beach (just 60 km away) to relax.
